05/15/2007 - Carson City, NV - Acquisition paves way for growth in booming Northern Nevada region
Manhard Consulting announced the acquisition of Capital Engineering, Inc., of Carson City, NV.
Founded in 1989, Capital Engineering has provided residential, commercial, industrial and municipal development services to clients in Northern Nevada for 18 years. The company has worked on a variety of private land development projects including Summmerhawk in Carson City, Riverpark in Dayton and North Valley Plaza in Douglas County. Capital has also been involved in a variety of public works projects such as roadways, water and sewer systems, and the historic V&T Railroad restoration project.

All existing staff at Capital Engineering are being retained, including owners Mark Rotter and Ken Dorr, who will assume the titles of Area Manager and Senior Project Manager respectively. The firm’s Carson City office will remain open under the Manhard name and will work closely with Scott Schoenfeld, Area Manager of Manhard's Reno office.
