Chicago, IL – Manhard Consulting is excited to announce the successful completion of the Planned Development (PD) approval process with the Chicago Department of Planning and Development (DPD) for the Truck Trailer Yard project for our esteemed client, Transport Properties LLC. This achievement represents a significant milestone in the development of our project located on E. 106th Street in the South Deering neighborhood of Chicago.
Our dedicated team worked closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, including the Landscape, Stormwater, Fire Prevention Bureau, MOPD, CDOT, and Sustainability departments, to ensure the successful realization of this vision. This collaborative approach has been instrumental in advancing the project and addressing key considerations from all involved parties.
A highlight of this project is the incorporation of naturalized shoreline improvements along the Calumet River. These enhancements not only improve the visual appeal of the site but also adhere to the River Ecology and Governance Task Force and Chicago Sustainability guidelines. By integrating these sustainable features, we aim to contribute positively to the community and the environment.
