Manhard Consulting, a full-service civil engineering, surveying and land planning firm, has promoted Kevin Coughlin to vice president. Coughlin is based in the Chicago office.

As vice president, Coughlin will be responsible for identifying strategic growth opportunities and driving business development efforts in all markets, with an emphasis on commercial, industrial, residential, renewable energy, and data centers. Coughlin will also continue in his capacity as senior project manager for Manhard Consulting, where he manages teams through all phases of projects.

Coughlin began his career as a project engineer and joined Manhard as a senior project manager, quickly advancing to vice president. With 17 years of experience, he brings extensive knowledge of the development process and a strong track record of collaborating with clients to deliver successful projects.

Coughlin received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Marquette University.
