Manhard guided the site design, utility design, grading design, utility service coordination, entitlements and permitting on the project to ensure an economical design and aesthetically pleasing design.
Unique factors included extensive IDOT coordination regarding planned future improvements to the right of way and permitting. Manhard provided vehicle maneuvering analysis to ensure safe ingress and egress for all emergency vehicles. To ensure accessibility, Manhard provided extensive grading detail for pedestrian routes near the building and connecting to the public right of way. Finally, Manhard’s naturalized rain garden provided a site amenity and stormwater resiliency by cleaning stormwater runoff and promoting infiltration.
